Lost In Translation

The Royal Australian Navy needed to recruit Cryptologic Linguists, whose primary role is to translate languages. So we enlisted the help of Artificial Intelligence, the very technology most job seekers think will replace human roles. Because while A.I. can play a big role in the modern workforce, surprisingly it doesn’t always get it right when translating languages. We demonstrated this by putting A.I. to the test and fed it well-known phrases to translate, then took those mistakes and highlighted them in an ad campaign, reinforcing why some roles will always require a human touch/
